A Systematic Review of the Stress-Coping Scales Used in Korean Nursing

Background: This study aimed to compare the stress-coping measurement scales used in nursing field South Korea through a literature review based on types of tools assessed, their characteristics, frequency use, target stress, population, and coping outcomes.Methods: The data base periodical information academic, citation index, Korean studies sharing service, medical database, National discovery for science leaders, KoreaMed, assemble library, library databases were searched articles related with stress published between 2009 2018 Korea. Of total 1,666 searched, 59 that aligned purpose finally selected after reviewing original texts excluding duplicates.Results: identified six by nurses, among which ways (WCQ) was most frequently used. Most involved students, followed patients health workers (nurses caregivers). Regarding WCQ work-related daily living those focusing health-related clinical practice stress. Secondary analysis usage showed 48.5% interpreted scale results individual methods, remaining 45.5% overall score.Conclusions: Researchers need appropriately use interpret have been translated into validated each situation participant.
